Many thanks to Marcus Noble & Jana Shirley who came in to Waves to drop off over £2000 that they raised for Making Waves by doing a Total Warrior assault course.
Marcus told us; ‘It was very hard but lots of fun. Jana is super fit so she made it look easy. She puts all the classes together and myself and Dan Cox did the training groups. It was an eight week training session. We trained all over the place, on the canal, Beaumont Park, Greenhead Park, Castle Hill. The hardest part was being waist deep in mud and trying to get out. At the end of the course we had water poured on us to get us clean enough to get into the car. Being part of the Vitality team was essential for camaraderie. Luke helped encourage us during the training doing leg lifts and showing us running techniques. The last thing we did was climb up a steep slope with a rope high up and then jump down onto an inflatable. It was a pleasure to raise funds for Making Waves.’
